Karis Lee is an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) specializing in rheumatology. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Florida and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Central Florida. Karis’ career path has included roles at Athena Medical Group, where she demonstrated her proficiency as a rheumatology nurse practitioner diagnosing and treating various rheumatologic conditions.

In her medical practice, she also functioned as clinical lead provider, where she contributed to streamlining operations and enhancing patient care utilizing electronic medical record systems. She is a member of Rheumatology Advanced Practice Providers and holds essential licenses, including APRN and the Family Nurse Practitioner board certification.

Karis currently functions as a medical science liaison, using her extensive clinical background to support the rheumatology and autoimmune segments at Labcorp. In this role, she bridges the gap between specialty testing and its clinical application, helping to facilitate the clinician’s day-to-day management of complex patients.
