Dr. Cheng received her medical degree at the School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at University of Buffalo, followed by an internal medicine residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. She then completed a fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism at University of California San Francisco and participated in a non-ACGME fellowship in bone and mineral disorders at Washington University in St Louis. Prior to joining Labcorp, she worked as a clinical endocrinologist at Northeast Community Clinic in Los Angeles. Her areas of expertise include general endocrinology and NASH.
Dr. Cheng is a member of the Endocrine Society and American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE), and has co-authored several peer-reviewed publications in the field of endocrinology.
