As a Nurse Practitioner, Kathleen provided direct patient care for 5 years and participated in clinical research and as a director of medical staff in HIV and infectious diseases private practice settings.
For the past 24 years, Kathleen has worked in both the pharmaceutical and the diagnostics industry in a medical, scientific, and educational capacity. Kathleen has medical affairs experience with start-ups, acquisitions, pre- and post-drug launches, new label indications, and first-in-class compounds in a variety of therapeutic areas including immunology, virology and infectious diseases.
Kathleen received her PhD in Public Health and Epidemiology from Walden University. She also received her Master of Science in Nursing from UCLA
